So happy that you are here once again thirsty for more tidbits that will help you along in your real estate journey. I was thinking the other day about a quote from Albert Einstein that reads:
Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.

Positive Energy – are you an energy giver or an energy sucker?

Experience and Consultation – As you gain experience you can get better at guiding people to the right conclusions.  Once you have stories to draw upon.

Helping people in life changes – the Best feeling in the world.

Navigating difficult situations – Bad things can happen to good people.  Or people make bad decision is their lives and we have to help them out of those situations sometimes.

Helping people make great decisions – this is a great way to communicate value to people….explain how your goal is to help them make a great decision.  Information.  Viewing the right homes.  Understanding the market dynamics that are happening right now.

Negotiating Skills – as you get to know your market place and begin to understand leverage points you will get better at negotiating.  The other thing is when you are doing enough deals you begin to detach from the outcome a little more.  I remember when I was more interested in getting the deal together because I needed a pay cheque.  Not a good position to negotiate from.

Advice to help people get top dollar when selling – Once you have more and more success stories and you begin to understand the stumbling blocks over time you will get better and better at giving good advice to people about getting their home ready for selling.  We have some tools to help you out in the course and also some great tips on working through that with your clients

Creativity – there is more than once way to market a home.  Do you know your target market?  How do you position certain types of product on social media….Is there a different spin you can put on it this time that may catch someones attention?  Get creative….the more creative you are and the more people see that in you  – that gives you more value.

Lead Conversion Skills – Time is precious.  Better Conversion rates literally can 4X your business.  Get good on the phone….get good at sending emails – get good at the first meeting – get good at that.  That is highly valuable and increase your dollar per hour in a huge way.  IF you spend more time serving people and less time trying to get business, you will be more valuable to your existing clients.

Database Nurturing – the best business is the people that you have already done business with.  They are the best people to get more business from.  Give them a lot of value and once they see how valuable you are to them, they will send people your way expecting nothing in return.  I know people that send cards to their clients that say that they will pay $500 for every referral!!

Your Strategic alliances – Referrals Receive and reward quickly.  From all of the sources that you generate over time.  This is of great value to all parties.  IT is always a win-win.  IF they refer people to you and you make them look good….then you refer people to them and they make you look good.  It gives the client security that you are someone that they need to stay in contact with.  Get to know good people in all aspects of business and life and create win-win relationships.  Be a person of value

Contribution –Give and your will receive.  Give of yourself.  Give of your time.  Give of your money and resources and see what happens.  Do it with no expectation of anything in return and over time the dividends will blow your mind.

Time Output  – getting people to value your time is a skill.

Smart Investment Analysis for Investors – once you start to understand the parameters of investing and helping people make good returns on their investments they will stick with you.  Ensure that you are giving good advice.  Even though there is a chance you may not sell the property…give the right advice.  They will trust you as the only person that they can trust in order to make a great investment.


Be a person of value to everyone that you come into contact with….its starts with your positive energy that is the first gift that you give of yourself.  Do not ever be a negative influence.  No matter what!  It will never serve you.  Don’t get caught up in gossip or bad mouthing.  It’s a waste of mental energy.  Always be that guy or gal that everyone can count on to bring a high level of energy to the room, office, bank line up, meeting, or whatever….


Be a Person of Value instead of a person of success.  Success will come.  When it happens you don’t have to let everyone know….by how successful you look or sound….they will ASSUME you are successful because you are of such value to everyone around you.
